Yungjin (CEO S.D Jun) pharm. held the completion commemoration of Namyang Cephalosporin Plant on 9^th Jun.

Yungjin invested a total of 13 million dollars for the construction. In order to prevent cross contamination between products it has installed 100% ventilation system and interlock facilities.

The main production facilities include sterile powder injection facilities and facilities for production of oral solid dosages such as tablets, capsules and granules. It is said to be able to produce minimum of 6 million powder injection vials and about one hundred million tablets. 

The new plant is equipped with production facilities ready for globalization and constructed with the alliance with the Japanese major generic company where the project started to be discussed since 2008 and in 2010 technology transfer started to be implemented, agreeing upon the transfer of Japanese major production facilities to Yungjin with contract manufacturing and supply.

This business is to be starting from the second half of 2011 when the new Cephalosporin building starts to operate.
