 After meetings with shareholders, Yungjin Pharmaceutical announced the appointment of Lee Chae Joon as its new president and CEO. His inauguration ceremony was held on April 13.
CEO Lee Chae Joon has worked as a consultant in the pharmaceutical and health care fields at A.T. Kearney, and in global marketing at Samsung Electronics. He has built a wide range of experience in business strategy and development related to the Korean market, including many projects with G.S.K (GlaxoSmithKline), a multinational pharmaceutical company. He was also selected as the head of Global Business Headquarters while working for Dong-A ST, where he used his expertise in the field to establish an export agreement for a new drug.
In his inauguration speech, CEO Lee Chae Joon said, "Yungjin Pharm has been keeping to its substantial export performance in Japan and other overseas business in recent years." and ¡°Based on the manufacturing technology and R&D that the company has, throughout the global business as well as the business development and domestic sales, I will further strengthen its capabilities and position to become a global pharmaceutical company and make every effort with all my employees.¡±
